Montreal’s female-fronted band No Joy has often been mentioned together with the term ‘shoegaze’ since their first album in 2010, Ghost Blonde. Though inspired by early-90s guitar rock and indie sounds, beneath the blazing guitars the band really have a sound of their own, proven with their new album Wait to Pleasure.
